All vampires most certainly do NOT look the same!

Beth Cooper is the modern type of vampire. After 300 years she's got life pretty much figured out. She runs a popular seaside pub in a small English town, she does whatever she wants... and nobody has a clue that she was actually born on a remote farm in the year 1698.

And then the storm hits.

Something has been dislodged from the seabed. Something ancient. Something cursed. Something that was dropped down there many years ago for a very good reason. And as the sun rises on the morning after the storm, pieces of wood are found scattered across the beach.

Ezekiel's prison has been shattered. He's the old type of vampire. Vicious. Cruel. Tyrannical. He plays by a very different set of rules, and he's utterly horrified to find out what has happened to his species. Beth is everything he hates and more, and he quickly decides that he's going to put things right. He has peasants to slaughter back home, but first he's going to stick around for just long enough to grind Beth into dust.

Soon the stage is set for two very different monsters to face one another down. There can only be one survivor, and Beth quickly realizes that her carefree existence might be coming to an end. When her back's against the wall, will she be able to summon some 'old school' vampire energy? Or have three centuries of easy living smoothed all of that from her for good?
